Edifier’s been busy lately—not too long after introducing a handful of new speakers like the rather striking G2000 Pro system, the company has more recently announced its new T5s Powered Subwoofer, which Edifier says is designed to add deep, clear bass to any audio system.

In terms of hardware, the T5s features an 8-inch front-firing woofer and a 70W RMS Class-D amplifier, and can deliver low frequencies down to 35Hz. The built-in digital signal processor (DSP) also allows the subwoofer to work seamlessly with your existing speakers, packed in a design that uses 18mm MDF (medium-density fiberboard) for reduced vibration and distortion.
For connectivity, the T5s also works with Signal In and Signal Out ports, allowing users to hook it up with a wide range of setups, from desktop speakers to home theater systems. The subwoofer also automatically enters standby mode after 15 minutes of inactivity and wakes up when audio playback resumes. It’s available for $199.99.
